Are you scared to start your Podcasting business and that you will possibly be a failure? You realize that tip-top results will be few and far when you start. There are all sorts of failures that you will have to put up with, also there is the fear and imposter syndrome, as well as all the mistakes you will make, listen to the wrong gurus, take a completely wrong roadmap to where you want to go to.
When Tiger Woods started his golf career, he did not hit birdies every time he touched his number 7. He needed to practice again and again and each time he went onto a golf course he was a little better than the previous time, until one day he started winning competitions.
You have to realize the top-notch position is out of reach when you start. That certainly is not a pleasant feeling, it is like you start your attempt to podcasting to fail. The only way to get on top is to do "that thing you are passionate about", embrace it and do it over and over again, knowing that the failure syndrome and imposter syndrome will talk to you in your mind all day long. Don't get discouraged when there is a big failure. Close your eyes, think what went wrong and how you can improve it, and start again. The next time it will be much easier.
Remember, Podcasting is difficult to do, otherwise everybody would do it. Pinpoint your fears and what holds you back. Look into yourself and hear the voice of your passion. You know that you are fully aware that you are passionate about Podcasting, however, when you start you will be bad, but you know if you do not start you will always wonder "what if".
Look into yourself to see what it is that holds you back, then find that passion you have and really commit it to survive at the beginning. There is no silver bullet and there is no magic wizard that is going to get you from the start to the end.
One approach to fulfill your milestone is to get busy in there and start doing it. You cannot avoid fear and failure because it is part of the journey of where your goal is. Be positive on your journey. Once you start succeeding, it will be a totally different journey. Learn as much as you can with all your mistakes, failures and disappointments, however, the secret is to start and to keep going. When you get to your first milestone, celebrate and have a nice party, you will deserve it.
